Capturing and celebrating your love through a memorable, one-of-a-kind, piece of artwork that you can hang on your wall is priceless!
KD Art offers Live Wedding Painting, Commissioned art from your favorite wedding photo, or Live Guest Portraiture.
Bringing your special day to life on canvas. There are various sizes, and hours of service which you may choose from. These canvases may be hung on your walls as is, or you may have them custom framed to match your style.
Kimberly will be on location between 3-6 hours depending on your wedding schedule and needs.
A background sketch will be started prior to arrival and the bulk of the painting will happen onsite during your event.
Final touches will be added following the wedding in the KD Art Studio and your painting may be picked up or delivered in roughly 8-12 weeks following your big day.
Kimberly will meet with the couple onsite or virtually to talk about your wishes beforehand. You will want to set aside a small location at your venue for KD Art to set up her easel, chair, supplies and lighting (roughly 10 x 10, so there is room for guests to stand behind the art area on occasion). A 6’ table and two chairs are required within her area for the duration of the event. Close electrical outlets will be necessary for lighting, chargers and fans. Even though the scene that we are painting could be outdoors, Kimberly prefers to paint in an indoor, climate-controlled venue to prevent any outdoor blunders from happening (such as wind blowing over our canvas), and also for comfort and workability of her paints. Upon arrival Kimberly will initially take numerous photographs of our scene prior to setting up inside and will refer to her photographs for reference.
Live artist painting prices are determined by the size of art desired. Paintings are mixed media on wrapped canvases. Prices are based on unframed canvases; however, they are ready to hang as is, or they may be framed to your liking. Kimberly can bid framing upon request.
For a wedding portrait, you may select an image area of:
11 x 14 for $2,200 base price
16 x 20 for $2,800 base price (*most popular)
or 24 x 30 for $3,400 base price
All pieces are priced with only the couple and background in the painting without other individuals. Wedding parties or other individuals added can be added for an upcharge. Please inquire with Kimberly on all special pricing or add-ons.
Framing is not included in base pricing, but can be added.
Travel and Taxes will be added as applicable.
A meal during the event and room block discounts are required for events 5 hours or longer.
Live Wedding Artist
Canvas or paper art can be replicated of your favorite image within our KD Art Studio. The final pieces can be mailed to you when it is complete.
Replicate your favorite wedding photograph into artwork. These pieces are either hand painted or sketched by Kimberly herself. They are the perfect addition to any room. This art is an exquisite contrast to a typical photograph, and they are truly one of a kind. Kimberlys’ custom paintings are oils, acrylics, watercolor (OR MIXED MEDIA) on wrapped and stretched canvases or canvas wrapped boards, or sketches on paper. The canvases may be hung by themselves, displayed on an easel, or be framed into a beautiful molding for hanging. The Paper sketches may also be framed to hang.
Custom artwork can make a special gift for your loved ones or just be a central focal point in your living spaces.

Watercolor paintings are done on thick watercolor paper and unframed.

Not All Art orders are accepted. Kimberly accepts art projects on approval only & She has the right to refuse any art project due to style, content, deadline or her availability. Kimberlys’ own photograph replicas will take precedence on acceptance over outside photographs when her availability is tight.
Any photograph that does not originate from Kimberlys’ photography is required to have a print release from the original photographer, allowing the photograph to be duplicated.
All art may be ordered in different sizes than listed. depending on your space and needs. Kimberly is happy to do an in home consulation if you’re unsure of the size needed.
You may pick up your items at our studio if you would like to save on shipping costs.
Please note, the lead time on these pieces can typically take anywhere from 3-12 months +/- depending on Kimberly’s availability. Upon your inquiry she’ll be able to tell you her guestimate on completion. If you have a deadline request, however, please let her know prior to ordering your piece to be sure she can meet your requested timeline.
All artwork is subjective to the eye of the beholder, and there are no refunds for any piece which you purchase.

Are you looking for a fun and unique way for your wedding guests to enjoy an activity, while also being able to bring home their own custom portraiture to remember your special day by? If so, Live Guest Portraiture is for you!
What a fun service to add to your special day! These sweet keepsakes are a personal item for your guest to take home and remember the perfect time that they had at your wedding.
These portraitures are a ‘cartoon like’ version of your guests (unlike the wedding portrait which is realistic), and are usually faceless, using a mix of marker, pencil and/or paint as mediums. Kimberly will photograph guests that visit her table with an interest in a portraiture and begin creating their little masterpieces. Your guests’ make take home their very own 5” x 7” portraiture within a plastic sleeve to prevent soiling, smudging and fingerprints. *Most of the work is completed at your event, however any guests who had their photograph taken for a portraiture, but it wasn’t completed by the end of your event, will be finished at the KDP studio and mailed directly to your guests after completion.
There are two guests allowed on each sheet. Kimbely can complete roughly 6-10 sheets per hour.

$1,800 for up to 4 live hours of service & roughly up to & between 30-50 portraits
$2,700 for up to 6 live hours of service & roughly up to & between 51-100 portraits
$3,600 for up to 8 live hours of service & roughly up to & between 101-150 portraits
$750 per additional hours and 10 additional portraits.
Add (optional) $300 for the wedding couples’ name and date to be added to the portraits (pre-printed)
First come, first serve on the maximum number of portraits for your event. Photographs will not be taken, and portraitures will not be produced for over the maximum number of portraits for your package. Completed Portraitures can be picked up from the table during the event. Any couple who has already been photographed, but the portrait has not yet been completed during the live event, will be completed at the KDP studio and shipped to the couple (or bride) as agreed upon. Couples, or individuals, who do not visit the table for a portraiture will not be captured.
